My charity pages for Cancer Research UK and the RAF Benevolent fund have now been set up. I am campaigning to get everyone to sponsor me £1/mile - it's only £20 and will make such a huge difference! Please sponsor me!
Firstly can I just say that this is an absolutely FANTASTIC challenge that you are doing, if not slightly crazy! I have read your blog with fascination, the highs and lows of the training, well lets say rather you than me!
I am head of Regional Fundraising for the RAF Benevolent Fund, and we are honoured to have been chosen as one of the benefiting charities for your exciting endurance swim. Even more poignant for us because it is our 90th anniversary next year.
It would be great to get in touch with you to see if we can assist in any way, maybe help with press and pr, tap into our local fundraiser for ideas and motivation even allowing us to tell our supporters of what your doing would be enormously helpful to us.
My e-mail is: nicola.james@rafbf.org.uk it would be great to hear from you.
Warm wishes

I have previously completed multiple endurance events including the Ironman European Championships in 2006, the Libyan Challenge – a non-stop 180km desert run and the Mark Webber Tasmanian Challenge – a 6 day invitation-only adventure race. In 2009 I plan to complete a 4-man Channel relay as part of my Enduroman preparation and in 2010 I will compete in Ironman Switzerland.
The Arch 2 Arc challenge has only ever been completed by 6 people. I hope to become the first woman to complete this phenomenal challenge.
